Creating Actions
When creating a new action you will need a link to a template, so check you have a template prepared in advance of this step - for support, see Templates.
When creating new actions you should be on the Manage TSM page and inside the ‘Actions’ tab, for support with navigating here see Actions.
You can create a new TSM action by selecting the ‘Add’ button on the left sidebar.

This will open the action editor where you can enter the details of your new action.

The Template field should link to a template prepared for this action. The template selected will define what information is shared, and the format and styling of the information.

You should choose how the user receives the notification once the rule has been met. For more information on what each Action Type does, read Types of TSM Actions.

Finally, choose which user(s) should receive the alert when the rule has been triggered.

Once all required fields have been filled the save button will activate, click the ‘Save' 💾 button to save the action.

You will see your new Action in the left sidebar. | ![]() |
